I have used this file manager for years and it is a program i use on a daily basis, but I cannot seem to get it to work with Windows It crashes upon launch every time. I tried using different Compatibility settings, but nothing I try seems to rectify my problem. Does anyone have a workaround? There is a "Live Update" feature in the program, but because it crashes on launch, it is useless if a patch were issued. If I am unable to get this program I have used for years with the new Windows 10, can anyone give me recommendations for another powerful file manager compatible with Windows 10?

I just today talked to VCOM that controls this great file managing software and was informed that "They are awaiting Microsoft to issue a Patch for Windows 10" to correct this incompatibality.
So now we have a he-said, she-said situation and neither of these people want to invest in a fix for either program. What a sick world. Like others, I am addicted to Windows and also to PowerDesk Software and sometimes I feel like a chump to both of them. FreeCommander XE is one of several excellent free 'file manager replacements' you can find if you web-search for yourself. Its the one I switched to and it is similar in operation to PD. BTW, PD9 pro is still installed and right clicking [on a file or These still work even though PD9 itself crashes.

This response is as useless as teats on a boar hog. I called Vcom about the incompatibility issue and they informed me that they are awaiting an update from your Microsoft software team for a fix.
